Codabar is a self-checking numeric symbology still in use at blood banks, FedEx airbills, and library systems. With a minimum X dimension of 0.191mm and 10X quiet zones, it offers reliable scanning with relatively simple print requirements. Bar height must be at least 6.35mm to ensure consistent first-pass read rates.
