Code 128 offers the highest density of any linear barcode symbology, encoding the full ASCII character set. The minimum X dimension is 0.191mm (7.5 mil) with bar height at least 5.08mm or 15% of the symbol length. It is the basis for GS1-128 and widely used in shipping and logistics.
