ITF-14 is the standard symbology for outer case and carton identification in the GS1 system. Designed for corrugated substrates, it uses a larger X dimension (0.495mm minimum) and taller bars (31.75mm) than retail barcodes, and is typically enclosed in a bearer bar frame to prevent misreads from ink spread.
